Radiant Precicom spring buffers absorb kinetic energy at the end of crane and conveyor travel, protecting structure and equipment from impact damage. Manufactured with IS 4454 compression springs housed in mild steel or cast iron bodies, they are engineered for long, low-maintenance service lives.

Spring Coiling / Housing Machining

Compression spring coiled to calculated free length and pitch; housing turned on CNC lathe

Heat Treatment & Shot Peening

Springs stress-relieved at 220–250°C; shot-peened to improve fatigue life

Load-Deflection Testing

100% spring load-deflection curve tested on spring testing machine; result vs. design curve

Assembly

Spring assembled into housing; pre-load set; end plates fitted and pinned

Final Inspection & Marking

Compressed height, free height, load at test length verified; part marked with lot number
